Valero: Wilmington Refinery Switch to All CARBOB in August
Last week in a conference call following the release of its first quarter results, a refinery official with Valero Energy Corporation reported in regards to the January 2004 ban on MTBE, the company’s 140,000 barrels per day Wilmington, California refinery will be ready to switch to full CARBOB, the ethanol blend, production starting in August.
In addition, its 180,000 bpd Benicia, California refinery will make the switch by the end of the year.
