According to a spokeswoman with BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, the company just recently opened its second gasoline station in New Jersey. The six double-sided pumps in the station adjoin the soon-to-be opened club in Vineland.
The club members simply swipe their membership cards at the pump to receive discounts, while non-members can buy fuel, they will receive no discount.
The spokeswoman noted success of the stations and land availability, along with growth and zoning regulations, factor into the company’s future station plans.
BJ’s opened its first retail gasoline station in New Jersey in Linden in 2000.
