Domestic propane stockpiles dropped 1.2 million bbl to 68.4 million bbl for the week-ended Nov. 6, according to the Energy Information Administration.
This week’s domestic propane supply data showed that the year-on-year surplus narrowed to 8.7 million bbl or 14.6 percent.
Regionally, propane in the PADD 1 East Coast region dropped 100,000 bbl or 2 percent at 4.9 million bbl, while stocks in the PADD 2 Midwest region declined 700,000 bbl to 28.0 million bbl. Propane stocks in PADD 3 at the Gulf Coast dropped 700,000 bbl at 33.1 million bbl. For PADDs 4 and 5, which include the Rocky Mountain and West Coast regions, propane stocks rose 200,000 bbl to 2.4 million bbl for the week under review.
